Hi everyone, I thought I would update you on My Dads condition.   Unfortunately, after a few weeks back at his care home, he suffered yet another infection, that almost took him from us.  He has again bet the odds and recovered from the infection which had spread to sepsis.  But as with last month, he has been weakened even more.  He is also agitated and aggressive with nursing staff and us all, when he is in pain or discomfort.   We are now looking at end of life care.   As everyone thinks it will be fairer to make him as comfortable as possible, rather than trying to prolong his life and putting him through endless needles and tests.    He is certainly a fighter though,  He has had several heart attacks,  Tia's  A bad back, Angina, and strokes as well as his Alzheimer.   I just want his suffering to stop, it is so sad when he is distressed.    

It is also five years on Thursday since we suddenly lost my Mom, so we are all very emotional right now.   
I have not forgotten you all and will be back at some point later this year.

I know several of my Da friends are suffering their own health problems and you are all still in my thoughts, even when I am not on the site.

Take care everyone and make the most of the people around you, and take each day as if it is your last,  make the most of every second of every day.
